Directions & Parking
The Terry Fox Athletic Facility, adjacent to Mooney's Bay Park, is the race site. It is just South of the corner of Hogsback Rd.and Riverside Dr., on Riverside Dr. The entrance to the Terry Fox Athletic Facility Parking Lot and the Mooney's Bay Parking Lot is the first driveway on the West side of Riverside Dr., South of Hogsback Rd.

Race Day Parking
Off Hogsback Rd. near the Riverside Dr. end of Hogsback Rd.
There is a limit of 180 cars in the lot. We anticipate that this lot will be full by 8:00 a.m. and exiting this lot will be slow until all bike portions of the race are complete. If you will be leaving the event earlier than that, please choose one of the other parking locations.

Terry Fox Athletic Facility Parking Lot (100)- Reserved (first come, first served)

The Terry Fox Parking Lot is off Riverside Dr., South of Hogsback Rd. The entrance to the Terry Fox Facility Parking Lot will probably be full Iron 113 participants very early.

Mooney's Bay Park Parking Lot
The Mooney's Bay Parking Lot is off Riverside Dr. at the same entrance to the Terry Fox Athletic Facility, but it is a paid lot. Please make sure to pay and monitor your time stayed.

Alternative Parking Lots 
In addition to the above lots, you can park in many of the lots along Brookfield Dr. which meets Riverside Dr. at the Hogsback Rd. corner. These lots are very convenient to the event site (about a 5 minute walk) and some are free. Please obey parking/no parking signs/pay signs, or suffer the consequences. Park at your own risk.

There Will Be No Access to Hogsback Rd. from Prince of Wales Dr.
Please do not attempt to enter Hogsback Rd. from Prince of Wales Dr. on race morning. You will be unable to do so, because Hogsback Rd. will be closed. Access to parking lots on Hogsback Rd. and the race site are from Riverside Dr. only.

Iron 113 Swim (1932m)
The swim is in Mooney's Bay. The start and finish are on Mooney's Bay Beach with a short run to the Transition Zone in the Terry Fox Athletic Facility. The swim is a measured 1 loop course.

Iron 113 First Duathlon Run (2km)
The run starts along the recreational pathway outside the stadium, beside the bleachers, through Mooney's Bay Park to the 1Km turn around point on Riverside Dr., and returns to the stadium T-Zone on the same route.

Iron 113 Duathlon Cycle (90km)
The cycle course consists of a 10Km out and back loop along Hogsback Rd. and North on Colonel By Drive, which is repeated 9 times. Cyclists turn at the 5 km point and return to the Hogsback Rd 10Km turn point. They repeat this loop 9 times in total and then return to the Terry Fox Athletic Facility Transition Zone finish, at the end of lap 9.

Iron 113 Triathlon & Duathlon Final Run (21.1 Km) 
The Half Marathon run is a 4 TIMES OUT AND BACK LOOP, beginning and ending in the Terry Fox Athletic Facility. Runners exit the T-Zone beside the Finish Line, and run on the track to the Stadium exit, and onto the paved pathway through Mooney's Bay Park. They then run along Riverside Dr. on the sidewalk recreational pathway, and proceed to the Revelstoke Dr. turn around point. They turn around there and head back to the Stadium Finish Line turn around point on the same course, to complete one lap. This lap is completed 4 times, with the finish at the end of the 4th lap in the Terry Fox Athletic Facility Finish Line.

Olympic Triathlon
Olympic Triathlon Swim (1500m)
The swim starts from Mooney's Bay Beach and is a one loop course which follows the same course as the Iron 113 swim except that the South 180 degree turn takes place 250M North of (before) the 113 swim course turn. Swimmers exit from the water on the beach and run to the Transition Zone in the the Terry Fox Athletic Facility.

Olympic Triathlon Bike (40km)
The bike course consists of four 10 Km out and back loops along Colonel By Drive for a total of 40 Km. Cyclists will exit the transition zone onto Hogsback Rd. and proceed North on Colonel By to the turn around. They will then return to Hog's Back Road along the same route where they will turn again for the second, third, and fourth loops. At the completion of the fourth loop they will turn onto Hogsback Rd and re-enter the Transition Zone in the Terry Fox Athletic Facility.

Olympic Triathlon Run (10km)
Runners exit the T-Zone beside the Finish Line, and run on the track to the Stadium exit, onto the paved recreational pathway through Mooney's Bay Park. They run along Riverside Dr. on the recreational pathway, and proceed to Revelstoke Dr., and the 10Km turn around point. They turn around there and head back to the Stadium Finish Line on the same route. Runners complete this course twice.

Sprint Triathlon & Duathlon
Sprint Triathlon Swim (750m)
The swim starts from Mooney's Bay Beach and is a triangular course. Swimmers exit from the water on the beach and run to the Transition Zone in the the Terry Fox Athletic Facility.

First Duathlon Run (2km)
The run starts along the recreational pathway outside the stadium, beside the bleachers, through Mooney's Bay Park to the 1Km turn around point on Riverside Dr., and returns to the stadium T-Zone on the same route.

Triathlon & Duathlon Bike (30km)
The bike course consists of three 10 Km out and back loops along Colonel By Drive for a total of 30 Km. Cyclists will exit the transition zone onto Hogsback Rd. and proceed North on Colonel By to the turn around. They will then return to Hog's Back Road along the same route where they will turn again for the second and third loops. At the completion of the third loop they will turn onto Hogsback Rd and re-enter the Transition Zone in the Terry Fox Athletic Facility.

Final Triathlon & Duathlon Run (5km)
Runners exit the T-Zone beside the Finish Line, and run on the track to the Stadium exit, and onto the paved pathway which goes through Mooney's Bay Park. They run along the sidewalk recreational pathway along Riverside Dr. to Revelstoke Dr. and the 5Km turn around point. They turn around there and head back to the Stadium Finish Line on the same route.

Try A Tri and Super Sprint Triathlon
Swim (200m)
The 200 metre swim course starts at the South end of Mooney's Bay Beach and travels parallel to the beach to the swim exit at the North end of the beach. There is a run to the Transition Zone in the Terry Fox Athletic Facility, from there.

Bike (20km)
The bike course consists of two 10Km out and back loops along Colonel By Drive. Cyclists will exit the Transition Zone of the Terry Fox Athletic Facility, and proceed along Hogsback Rd., and then North on Colonel By Dr. to the turnaround then back to the turnaround at Hogback and then repeat for a second loop. They will then return to Hog's Back Road along the same route, where they will re-enter the Transition Zone in the Terry Fox Athletic Facility.

Try A Tri Run (3km)
Runners exit the T-Zone beside the Finish Line, and run on the track to the Stadium exit, and onto the paved pathway through Mooney's Bay Park. They run along the sidewalk recreational pathway along Riverside Dr. to the 1.5Km turn around point. They turn around there and head back to the Stadium Finish Line on the same route.

Super Sprint Tri Run (5km)
Runners exit the T-Zone beside the Finish Line, and run on the track to the Stadium exit, and onto the paved pathway which goes through Mooney's Bay Park. They run along the sidewalk recreational pathway along Riverside Dr. to Revelstoke Dr. and the 5Km turn around point. They turn around there and head back to the Stadium Finish Line on the same route.
