Course Description
50m swim (or wade) along the beach and a 500m run through the park to the finish line.

The kids start with a swim or wade in waist deep water.  The group will be divided into a swimmers’ wave and a waders’ wave (waders must be in water that is slightly above their waist). Each wave will start separately and if you are in the swimmer’s wave, you must swim the entire distance – no wading. Swimmers and waders will travel parallel to the beach until they reach the 50m buoy where they turn and run in to shore.

They then run from the water to the Terry Fox Stadium Finish Line, which is a 500m run from the beach through the park. A shirt with their number (on the front) must be worn on the run portion.
