Meet our newest race crew member - Sultan Kunadilov! He introduces himself and speak about what he love about Somersault in the quick interview below.
Short Bio: I am 32 years old and moved from Kazakhstan one year ago. I hold a degree in Computer Science, but my main passion is organizing events that have a significant positive impact on the community. For more than 10 years, I have been in charge of organizing various running, triathlon, open water swimming, fitness, chess, MMA, and science events. I am also an Ironman and a father of two kids.
What I Love About Events/Triathlon/Somersault: Triathlon is a personal sport where you race not with others but with the old version of yourself. This sport encourages you to improve every day, step by step. It all starts with one early morning run, and you can't stop because you love the feeling of getting better each morning. Somersault is a safe place where every athlete, from beginner to pro, can assess their performance in different kinds of races throughout the year. It's like a checkpoint in your life, allowing you to compare your current results with those of previous years and see how you're progressing.
Advice for Someone Who Wants to Try Their First Event: Register for any race with a specific date. A deadline motivates you to start moving and preparing for the race. On race day, the incredible atmosphere will inspire you to do your best!
Thank you, Sultan for always making sure our athletes have an incredible experience!
