The Cataraqui Trail is a highlight of the annual Sydenham Lakeside Run . It’s historic and beautiful and we need to do our part to help maintain it for generations to come. Kindly consider adding a donation while completing your online registration. Donations made at the Sydenham Triathlon and Lakeside Run will go directly to trail upgrading and maintenance. The Cataraqui Trail, owned by the Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority (CRCA), is a multi-use trail built upon the former CN rail line and runs from Smiths Falls to Strathcona in Greater Napanee. The trail is 104 kilometers long and passes through a number of communities including Sydenham. The Trail is managed by the Cataraqui Trail Management Board and is maintained by community volunteers.
The Somersault Event Series is the pre-eminent event series in Eastern Canada consisting of triathlon, duathlon, and running events for all ages and abilities.
As the COVID-19 situation and directives from our governments and public health agencies continue to evolve quickly, we have decided to pause new registrations for Somersault’s first three multi-sport events this season which include The Early Bird Tri/Du and Run, The Britannia Park Tri/Du and Run, and the Smiths Falls Classic Tri/Du and Run.
