Race Day Parking Options :

Hog’s Back Road (access from Riverside Drive only)
There is a limit of 150 cars in the lot. We anticipate that this lot will be full by 8:00am and exiting this lot will be slow until about 12:00am

Terry Fox Athletic Facility 
This lot is right beside Terry Fox Stadium. It has room for a limited number of cars. 

Mooney’s Bay Parking Lot
off Riverside Drive south of Hog’s Back Road
This is a metered parking lot which is open to the public, in which you are responsible to feed the parking meters. 

Alternative Parking
In addition to the above lots, you can park in some of the lots along Brookfield Drive These lots are convenient to the event site, but you park at your own risk. Please obey parking/no parking, and payment signs. Please note that the Rideau Canoe Club (RCC) on Hog’s Back Road is out of bounds for National Capital Tri/Du parking, as we have not secured permission to park there.

Theres no access to Hog’s Back Road from Prince of Wales Drive. Please do not attempt to enter Hog’s Back Road from Prince of Wales Drive on race morning. Hog’s Back Rd. will be closed. Access to parking lots and the race site is from Riverside Dr. only.

Run Courses
The Run courses run through Mooney’s Bay Park and then along Riverside Drive and Revelstoke Drive. The 2K runs go out and back to the 1K turn around point. The 5K goes out and back on the full course. And the 10K Run does a double out and back on the full course.

40K & 20K Bike Courses
The bike course begins in the transition zone. Cyclists exit the T-Zone onto Hog’s Back Road and ride west to Colonel By Drive. Cyclists turn right on Colonel By Drive and ride north to the 5K turn around. They return to the corner of Colonel By Drive and Hog’s Back Road to repeat this loop.

a) Sprint Tri, Sprint SwimCycle and Sprint Duathlon cyclists turn around again at the corner of Colonel By Drive and Hog’s Back and repeat the same out and back loop before returning to the T-Zone for a total of 2 loops. 

b) Olympic Triathlon, Olympic SwimCycle, and Long Duathlon cyclists turn around at the corner of Colonel By Drive and Hog’s Back and repeat the return to the 5K loop three more times for a total of 4 loops, before returning to the T-Zone.
