The Ottawa River Tri-Du features a spectacular finish area at the Britannia Beach point. Run in along the grass and enjoy a post-race stroll through the scenic park.

Swim Courses

The swim is a beach start. The course is counter-clockwise. Swimmers exit the water after each swim loop.

Bike Courses

Olympic Tri/Du/SwimCycle- 4 loops on the Parkway

Sprint Tri/Du – 2 loops on the Parkway

Super Sprint/Try A Tri – 1 loop on the Parkway

As advocates for safe cycling and as a reminder that it’s the law…you should have a bell on your bike as you will be sharing the pathway with the general public.  We will have bells for sale on site for $10 cash (taxes included)

Run Courses

The Ottawa River features a fun, twisty, gentle cross country run.The route is a shared one, so please be courteous to your fellow competitors and remember to keep to the right side of the cones. There is a water station on the pier near the turn.

3K = 1 Loop  – Try A Tri final run

5K = 2 Loops  – Super Sprint Tri, Sprint Tri, and first Olympic Du Run

10K = 4 Loops  – Olympic Tri & Du final run

Important: To comply with existing pathway rules of use, the bike portion of the triathlon & duathlon from the T-Zone to the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway will not be timed and will not be included in the final finish time. Participants are advised that while on the pathway, the ‘normal’ rules of pathway use apply to your cycling – including traveling at 20K per hour or less, not  using aerobars, and cycling to the right of the centre line. Cyclists who fail to comply with these requirements will be disqualified by event officials.
